Esmeralda Trek Winter
A trek towards a unique and wonderful place in Tierra del Fuego. A lagoon surrounded by mountains where the landscape is covered by a white winter mantle. Our passengers will enjoy a morning in contact with nature, walking along this mountain valley with its special features which offer a stunning view.
We leave the city through National Road No 3 until we reach the starting point where we get ready to continue on foot.
We will walk around 2 hours from the leaving point until we reach the lagoon, going through the sub antarctic woods, the peat valleys covered with snow, frozen rivers with beavers dams.
Once we get to the lagoon, covered with snow, we will discover that its surroundings make the place a specially charming one. There we will stop to regain strength with a lunch box and a hot drink, before starting our way back along the lane which led us there.

You must be physically fit to do this trek, no person with physical impediments can do this trek, nor those who do not have the adequate equipment, dressing and shoes.
It includes: hotel transfer –leaving point for the trek- hotel, lunch box (sándwich +sweet pastry + wáter bottle 500 ml) per person, canes (in case they are required), snow racquets (in case they are necessary and the weather requires them)
You must bring: back pack, water proof shoes with a good grippy sole, warm coat and water proof jacket.
