In the extreme south of Argentina, on the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego, is Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world. Capital of Tierra del Fuego province, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.

Founded in 1884, it’s located on the Beagle Canal and is surrounded by the Martial mountain chain, in the Ushuaia Bay. Its name means “Bay that looks west” in native language.

Our city includes an important port that operates commercially and touristically and one of the most modern international airports in Argentina, that guarantees operability beyond climate conditions.

The Tierra del Fuego National Park, with vegetable species, indigenous animals, and important testimonies from the first people of the region, protects the Fagnano and Acigami lakes, the Beagle Canal and the southernmost subantarctic forests.

With little more than 100 years of existence, Ushuaia invites you to discover its extreme landscapes of forests, snowy mountains, rivers of glacial origin, beaches, bays, cliffs and much more!
